During the New Year’s season, Tokyo Midtown is emerging as the scene of various functions and settings associated with this special time of year, all presented in a manner handsomely becoming an urban quarter rich in design and art.
The main entrance gate, for example, is decorated in the concept of a traditional “shrine visit.” Contemporary artists, fostering the New Year’s atmosphere in richly ornate style, have been consigned with the crafting of motifs of numerous celebrations found in traditional Japanese culture for this occasion. In addition to this, a series of events connected with the season are also being held at Tokyo Midtown throughout this period.
