Good Design Award is known familiarly for "G Mark", though, its structure and vision are unexpectedly not known well. This exhibition introduces them by exhibiting selected past Good Design Award winners.

The Impulse to decorate has been a constant source for Japanese culture from the Jomon period to the present day. This exhibition takes the novel approach of looking at many different aspects of decoration.

Stereographic photography is the viewing of two slightly different images set side-by-side through two separate lenses, which enables viewers to experience a heightened sense of dimensionality, and further enhances the enjoyment and wonder of photography. This exhibition displays extremely rare stereo cameras and stereo viewers produced approximately a century ago along with numerous stereographic photographs taken around the same time.

“XXIst Century Man” is the theme of the exhibition. Issey Miyake has designed an exhibition working with creators from both Japan and abroad. Our goal is to discover, together with those who visit the exhibition, a new sense of hope for the future.
