Preventive measures for your safety and comfortable experiences

  • We ensure employees check their body temperature, wear masks, and disinfect hands.
  • All key areas will have a anti-bacterial coating, and all rentals will be sanitized between uses.
  • We will restrict admissions during overcrowded hours. Please check our website for announcements.
  • When restricting admission, there will be a turn waiting application to guide customers with reservations to avoid queuing in line.
  • We will be taking cashless payments and a preventive measure against droplet infection at reception counters.

  • Ticket

    Where can I buy tickets?
    You can buy tickets at the reception on that day. We do not sell tickets on-line.
    How can I pay for the ticket?
    You can pay by cash, credit card, and other forms of electronic payment. For a book of tickets and a Season Pass we accept cash only.
    Do you have minimum age or height requirements?
    We do not have age or height restrictions. We have skates for shoe sizes starting from 15 cm. All users are required to wear skates.
    Do I need a ticket even when just accompanying someone?
    We charge 200 yen for persons accompanying others (observing only). Let the staff know when you check in. You can accompany any skaters aged 3 years old and above.
    What is a Cafe Ticket?
    It is a free drink coupon that you can only use in Tokyo Midtown. For details, please see the Cafe Ticket menu list below.
    When can I use Cafe Ticket?
    You can use it between Thursday, November 11 and Sunday, March 14, 2021.
    What is a Season Pass?
    It is a pass you can use anytime during the ice rink’s operating season.
    I learned Season Passes are sold in limited numbers. How many do you sell?
    100 for adults and 100 for children are scheduled to be sold.
    Where can I buy a Season Pass?
    You can buy one at the reception desk. Please be aware that we accept only cash for the purchase of Season Pass.
    Can I share my Season Pass with others?
    You cannot share your Season Pass with others. We request a single ticket for a single person. We will ask for your name and take a photograph for personal identification upon purchase of a Season Pass.
    I purchased a Season Pass but did not use it a lot. Can I get a refund?
    It is not refundable. Your understanding is appreciated.
    Can I make a private reservation?
    You can make a private reservation for 9:00-10:30 or 21:00-22:00. The fee is ¥50,000 per hour. For a reservation, please call Midtown Call Center.
    What is a One-Coin lesson?
    We offer a skating lesson for ¥500. Our staff offer lectures.
    When do you hold One-Coin lessons?
    30-minute lessons are scheduled on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for 15:00-15:30 / 16:00-16:30 / 17:00-17:30.
    Do you have a limit on the number of people who can join a One-Coin Lesson?
    Up to six people can participate in each lesson.
    Can anyone participate in One-Coin Lessons?
    Beginners, children and adults can all participate. The shoe size we rent is 15 cm or over so children whose size is 15 cm or over can participate. A child can participate alone. An attendance fee of ¥200 is required per parent watching the lesson.

    What kind of skates in what sizes do you have?
    We have over 500 figure skates in sizes ranging from 15 cm to 32 cm.
    We also have double runner ice skates for kids (15 to 20 cm).
    Can I reserve skates?
    We don’t take reservations.
    Can I bring in my own skates? Can I get a discount on the fee in that case?
    You can use your own skates, but you will not get a discount because the fee includes skate rental fee.
    Do you have glove rentals?
    We don’t have glove rentals, but gloves are available for purchase at the ticketing office (300 yen, three sizes: S, M, and L).
    Will any gloves do?
    For your safety, please wear full finger gloves.
    Do you have helmets?
    We have free helmet rentals. (Three sizes: S, M, and L).
    Do you have sled rentals?
    A sled can be rented for 500 yen per 20 minutes (tax included). (Available only from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm on weekdays. Last Call is at 6:40 pm)
    Besides skates, what else can I borrow?
    You can borrow helmets, knee pads and elbow pads, and you can rent sleds.

    Which is the nearest station to the rink?
    ・Toei Oedo Line Roppongi Station, direct connection from Exit 8
    ・Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line Roppongi Station, direct connection through an underground walkway
    Note: There are steps on the way. If you use a wheelchair or stroller, please use the Exit 4b to go aboveground.

    Do illuminations light up every day?
    Illuminations in the areas light up 17:00-23:00 everyday. Illuminations may not light up under unfavorable weather.
    Do you have lockers?
    We have self-service lockers (small: 100 yen, medium: 200 yen). The check-in booth will hold onto luggage that doesn’t fit in a locker. (300 yen per time)
    Are there restrooms at the rink?
    There are dedicated restrooms for ice rink users next to the rink.
    Are there rest spaces where I can take a break while skating?
    Outdoor rest spaces with benches are available. You can use rest spaces with your skating shoes on. We do not have indoor rest spaces.
    Are there shops and eateries at the rink?
    There are vending machines.There are no shops or eateries.
    Are there smoking areas at the rink?
    There are no smoking areas.
    Which is the nearest parking/bicycle parking to the rink?

    Priority admission is not available. We ask all visitors to wait in line.
    Is there a time limit?
    There is no time limit, but re-entry is not allowed.
    Are the prices the same regardless of the entry time?

    Can I re-enter the rink?
    No, you can’t.
    Can children (junior high school age and below) use the rink by themselves?
    They can enter as long as they can skate. We don’t have age restrictions in principle, but we request that parents/guardians take responsibility when deciding.

    We open the rink when we judge skating is possible.

    Do you have specified times for the rink’s ice maintenance?
    The maintenance times are subject to situations such as the weather and number of visitors. The maintenance is done once or twice on weekdays, and three to four times on weekends (15 to 20 minutes per time).
    Can I make an advance reservation?
    We don’t take reservations.
    Can I get points on a Midtown Card?Can I get a discount on the parking ticket?

    Can I do spins and jumps?
    We don’t prohibit them, but we may ask you to refrain from doing them at times, such as when the rink is crowded. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding with regard to accident prevention.

    We prohibit speed skating for safety reasons. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding with regard to accident prevention. We may ask you to leave the rink if you refuse to follow the staff’s instructions.
    Can I play games like ice hockey and curling?
    Visitors are requested to refrain form activities other than skating.
    What will you do with lost and found items in the rink? Where can I contact for lost and found items?
    Lost and found items will be delivered later in the day to the information counter on the 1st floor of Tokyo Midtown Galleria. For details, please contact Tokyo Midtown Call Center (03-3475-3100).

Cafe Ticket

We distribute Cafe Tickets at the reception desk in the ice rink. After skating, please have a break at one of the cafés or restaurants inside the building.
