This large art garden has been conceptualized taking the Japanese rock garden as its inspiration. Relax on the veranda that surrounds the garden, and enjoy a fascinating world of light and mist.

About the lighting show
There is a ripple and digital fireworks lighting show four times an hour (at :00, :15, :30, :45) from 18:00.

This feature is comprised of a garden of art with a size of approximately 20m x 40m surrounded by a large veranda and taking leveraging the concept of the Japanese rock garden for its designs. Cool mist provides the freshness of a summer mountain retreat, and a light display from sunset creates a dream-like ambience. Light full of expression creates ripples and fireworks for you to enjoy as you relax on the veranda.
The light display is produced by HAKUTEN and WOW visual design studio.

This is the 10th year of this feature, and this year it includes seats that produce the effect of a water surface resembling japanese riverbed in Kyoto. In this stamp collection event, participants collect stamps from various locations around Tokyo Midtown as if hunting for insects (a popular activity for kids in Japan). This year we have collaborated with the 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT Exhibition “Insects : Models for Design”. Collect stamps to receive unique stickers.

This is a workshop in which participants make a Japanese folding screen - a traditional piece of furniture that has been used in Japan for many generations.
