街がアートで彩られる「六本木アートナイト」に受賞者が参加/ Award-winners participate in Roppongi Art Night六本木がアートの街になる一夜限りの祭典「六本木アートナイト」。2014年は4月19日（土）から20日（日）にかけ、「動け、カラダ！」をテーマに開催されました。当日は周辺の美術館やギャラリーも深夜や早朝まで開館時間を延長し、趣向を凝らしたプログラムを展開。東京ミッドタウンも拠点の一つとしてライブ、パフォーマンス、ワークショップなど多彩なコンテンツを行いました。同時期にプラザB1Fにて開催したアートイベント｢ストリートミュージアム｣にて、絵画、インスタレーションなどの作品を展示していたアートコンペ2013の受賞作家6組も、当日限りの特別プログラムを実施して六本木アートナイトに参画。アートに満ちた六本木の夜を盛り上げました。Roppongi Art Night is a one-night-only eventwhen Roppongi becomes filled with art. In 2014,the event was held April 19 (Sat) - 20 (Sun) onthe theme of“Move Your Body!”Art museumsand galleries were open all night until earlymorning and visitors enjoyed many fascinatingevents. Tokyo Midtown held a variety of concerts,performances and workshops. Six artists who hadwon awards at the Tokyo Midtown art competition2013 exhibited their paintings and installations atthe Street Museum event on the B1 level of thePlaza. They also participated in a special one-nightprogram. Roppongi truly came alive.受賞者が東京ミッドタウンで夏のワークショップを開催/ Award-winning artist holds summer workshop at Tokyo Midtown毎年恒例となった東京ミッドタウン夏イベント「MIDTOWN ? SUMMER」。そのキッズ向けワークショップイベント「みんなでつくろう日本の夏」に、2013年アートコンペ受賞者の渡辺元佳さんが講師として登場しました。渡辺さんは、カラフルな塩ビの破片を使用した「なんちゃってサングラス」のワークショップを実施、サングラス制作を通して自分の好きな色や形を選んでデザインすることの楽しさを伝えました。このように、東京ミッドタウンでは、街で開催する様々なアートプログラムに受賞者を積極的に起用しています。●ワークショップ参加アーティスト：渡辺元佳さん（2013年度アートコンペ優秀賞受賞者）10Motoka Watanabe, a prize winner in the art competition of the Tokyo Midtown Award 2013,held a children?s workshop in the summer. At Tokyo Midtown?s“MIDTOWN ? SUMMER”,Watanabe taught children how to make fake sunglasses with colorful polyvinyl chloride ( PVC ).The participants experienced the fun of choosing their favorite colors and shapes, and thinkingof their own designs. Tokyo Midtown frequently invites award winners to take part in itsvarious art programs.
