ArtCompetition審査員（敬称略/ 50音順）Judgesテーマ：「なし」受賞作の展示場所は東京ミッドタウンを代表するパブリックスペースの一つ、プラザB1F。この場所は、空間を繋ぐ通路としての役割だけでなく、店舗に囲まれたコマーシャルスペースとしての役割も担います。都市のまん中から、発信したいメッセージをアートで自由に表現します。■応募期間：2014年5月15日（木）- 6月5日（木）必着■審査員：児島やよい、清水敏男、土屋公雄、■賞グランプリ（1点）準グランプリ（1点）優秀賞（4点）中山ダイスケ、八谷和彦（敬称略/ 50音順）※入賞者ひとり（または1組）につき、制作補助金100万円を支給します。※入賞作品は東京ミッドタウンプラザB1Fにて展示します。※受賞者のプロフィールは応募当時のものです。\1,000,000\500,000\100,000★グランプリ受賞者を、University of Hawai?i at Manoa / Department ofArt and Art Historyが実施するアートプログラムに招聘します。（P11）Theme : none（free theme）The award-winning works are shown on the B1 floor of thePlaza. This commercial space connects different facilitiesand is one of the main public areas of Tokyo Midtown.Here, in the center of Tokyo, artists convey their messagesthrough their artworks.[Note1] The winner of the Grand Prize is given the opportunity toparticipate in an art program held by the University of Hawai?i atManoa / Department of Art and Art History. [Note2] Awardees?profiles are those that were submitted at the time of application.児島やよいYayoi Kojimaフリーランス・キュレーター/ライター/慶応義塾大学、明治学院大学、学習院女子大学非常勤講師代表作：「杉本博司歴史の歴史」展（?03）、「高橋コレクション展」等テーマ枠のない今年は表現のメディアや手法に広がりが出て、今までにないタイプの作品が見られた。コンセプトだけ、技術や手わざだけでは作品として認められず、さらに現場での空間処理と判断、人とのコミュニケーションも必要という、まさにアーティストが直面する課題が凝縮したコンペである。そのすべてに直面し、作品へのさまざまな反応をライヴで受け止めた受賞者が、今後活躍されることを確信している。Freelance Curator / WriterThere was more variety in medium and method this year which we had notseen before at this competition. The artist is required to communicate withpeople, to consider the space, and to make decisions; this competition is filledwith obstacles that artists face, and it is no good just as a concept or skill. Ibelieve that the winners that will grow in the future are the ones that perceivepeople?s responses and accept everything that happens to their works.2
