Try using circular stickers to create artwork depicting summer scenes with Yukino Ohmura!

Artist Yukino Ohmura
Artist Yukino Ohmura
Born in 1988 and based in Tokyo,
Yukino Ohmura graduated in 2013 from the Department of Oil Painting, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tama Art
University.
While a student, she unveiled artwork depicting nightscapes using circular stationery stickers, and
this unexpected choice of material and visual beauty earned her a spot as a finalist at the 2012
Tokyo Midtown Award where she won the Audience Award.
Since then, she has been engaged in activities as an artist. She has held large-scale solo
exhibitions at public art museums across Japan, including Fukui City Art Museum, Niimi Art Museum,
and Kushiro City Museum of Art, taking a vigorous approach to presenting her work.
In addition to exhibiting her art, she also oversees participatory workshops where anyone can get
involved in the production of an artwork by simply sticking down stickers, and she has appeared on
the MBS TV program "Purebato!!" as the judge for circular sticker art. In 2023, she published her
first book, "Let's Try! Everyone's Sticker Art Book."
Through her work, she communicates the fun and expressive possibilities of sticker art to a wide
audience. web:Yukino Ohmura | MU GALLERY
