COACH MIDTOWN ICE RINK
The ice rink, which is one of the largest outdoor ice rinks in Tokyo, is a symbol of winters at Tokyo Midtown. This year, the rink has been given an especially resplendent dressing thanks to a collaboration with the global fashion brand COACH. Visitors to the rink can enjoy gliding over genuine ice in the middle of Tokyo to form long-lasting memories of winter.

Skate on the brilliant white ice under winter skies during the day, or surrounded by illuminations at night. In either of these appealing environments, you are free to glide over the ice taking the trajectory your heart desires.

Ticket
- Q. Where can I buy tickets?
- A. You can buy tickets at the reception on that day. We do not sell tickets on-line.
- Q. How can I pay for the ticket?
- A. You can pay by cash, credit card, and other forms of electronic payment. ※Beginner's lessons are paid in cash only.
- Q. Do you have minimum age or height requirements?
- A. We do not have age or height restrictions, but all users are required to wear skates. We have skates for shoe sizes starting from 15 cm.
- Q. Do I need a ticket even when just accompanying someone?
- A. ¥300 entry fee is required for persons accompanying others (watching only). Please let the staff at the reception counter know if you are just watching. The fee is not required for children under 3 years old, but it is required for those over 3 years old.
- Q. What is the Cafe & Gourmet Ticket?
- A.
A. It is a discount voucher that you can use at Tokyo Midtown (Roppongi). You can use it to receive a ¥500 discount on your bill at eating and drinking establishments in Tokyo Midtown (excludes some establishments).
※Discount is available when you spend ¥500 (inc. tax) or more- ●You can use one ticket per person per bill at participating establishments.
- ●For details of participating establishments, scan the QR code on the front or check with the relevant establishment.
- ●The consumption of alcohol by minors is prohibited by law. Minors cannot purchase alcoholic beverages.
- ●Business hours and last order times differ for each establishment. Depending on the circumstances, some establishments may be closed, operating changed business hours, undergoing renovation, or temporarily shut.
- ●In the event that an establishment is closed, operating changed business hours, or temporarily shut, the expiry date of the ticket cannot be changed.
- ●Tickets can only be used when paying at the cash register within the relevant establishment.
- ●Ticket cannot be used to purchase product vouchers, gift vouchers, or any other such items specified by the establishment in which you use the ticket.
- ● Tickets can only be used prior to the expiry date. (Tickets become invalid after the expiry date.)
- ●Tickets cannot be exchanged for cash, and no change will be given.

- Q. When can I use the Cafe & Gourmet Ticket?

- Q. Can I make a private reservation?

You can make private reservations between 9:00 and 10:30. The reservation fee is 50,000
yen per hour on weekdays / 55,000 yen per hour on weekends and holidays. (Shoe rental fees are
charged separately.)

- Q. What is a Beginner's lessons?
- A. We offer a skating lessons for ¥700. Our staff offer lectures.
- Q. When do you hold Beginner's lessons?
- A. Skating lessons are scheduled for 30 minutes each on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 15:00 - 15:30, 16:00 - 16:30, and 17:00 - 17:30. However, please note this excludes national holidays and the end of year period from December 16 (Sat.) - January 3 (Wed.)
- Q. Do you have a limit on the number of people who can join a Beginner's lesson?
- A. Up to six people can participate in each lesson.
- Q. Can anyone participate in Beginner's lessons?
- A. Beginners, children, and adults can all participate. Shoes are available starting from children's size 15 cm. A child can participate alone. An attendance fee of ¥300 is required per parent watching the lesson.
Rental
- Q. What kind of skates in what sizes do you have?
- A. We have over 500 figure skates in sizes ranging from 15 cm to 32 cm. We also have double runner ice skates for kids (15 to 20 cm).
- Q. Can I reserve skates?
- A. We don't take reservations.
- Q. Can I use my own skates? And if I bring my own skates, do I still have to pay the rental fee?
- A. Yes, you can use your own skates. If you use your own skates, you do not have to pay the rental fee.
- Q. Do you have glove rentals?
- A. We don't have glove rentals, but gloves are available for purchase at the ticketing office (¥300, three sizes: S, M, and L).
- Q. Will any gloves do?
- A. For your safety, please wear full finger gloves.
- Q. Do you have helmets?
- A. We have free helmet rentals. (Four sizes: XS, S, M and L).
- Q. Do you have sled rentals?
- A. A sled can be rented for ¥500 per 20 minutes (tax included). (Available only
from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm on weekdays. Last Call is at 5:40 pm)
※Sleds are not available to rent in busy periods or at night
- Q. Besides skates, what else can I borrow?
- A. You can borrow helmets, knee pads and elbow pads, and you can rent sleds.

- A.
・Toei Oedo Line Roppongi Station, direct connection from Exit 8
・Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line Roppongi Station, direct connection through an underground walkway.
※There are steps on the way. If you use a wheelchair or stroller, please use the Exit 4b to go aboveground
・Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line Nogizaka Station (About a 3-minute walk from Exit 3).
- Q. Can I use my own skates?
- A. Yes, you can use your own skates.
- Q. Do illuminations light up every day?
- A. The surrounding illuminations light up every day from 17:04 to 23:00.
※The illumination times may change depending on the situation
- Q. Do you have lockers?
- A. We have self-service lockers (small: ¥100, medium: ¥200).
- Q. Are there restrooms at the rink?
- A. There are dedicated restrooms for ice rink users next to the rink.
- Q. Are there rest spaces where I can take a break while skating?
- A. Outdoor rest spaces with benches are available. You can use rest spaces with your skating shoes on. We do not have indoor rest spaces.
- Q. Are there smoking areas at the rink?
- A. No, there are no smoking areas. Please use the smoking areas in Tokyo Midtown.
- Q. Which is the nearest parking/bicycle parking to the rink?
- A. You can use Tokyo Midtown's parking/bicycle parking for a fee.

- Q. Do you restrict admission?
- A. If the link is crowded, admission will be restricted and numbered tickets will be distributed at the reception. In addition, we will inform you when admission is restricted in the "NOTICE" of this site.
- Q. Is there a way to give priority to admission when it is crowded?
- A. Priority admission is not available. We ask all visitors to wait in line.
- Q. Is there a time limit?
- A. There is no time limit, but re-entry is not allowed.
- Q. Are the prices the same regardless of the entry time?
- A. The prices are not categorized by times. The prices remain the same.
- Q. Can I re-enter the rink?
- A. No, you can't.
- Q. Can children (junior high school age and below) use the rink by themselves?
- A. They can enter as long as they can skate. We don't have age restrictions in principle, but we request that parents/guardians take responsibility when deciding.

- Q. Will the rink open when it's rainy, snowy, windy, or warm?
- A. We open the rink when we judge skating is possible.

- Q. Will any attire do?
- A. Please come dressed for skating. Make sure to wear gloves to prevent injuries.
- Q. Do you have specified times for the rink's ice maintenance?
- A. The maintenance times are subject to situations such as the weather and number of visitors. The maintenance is done once or twice on weekdays, and three to four times on weekends (15 to 20 minutes per time).
- Q. Can I make an advance reservation?
- A. We don't take reservations.
- Q. Can I get points on a Tokyo Midtown Card? Can I get a discount on the parking ticket?
- A. Not applicable for these services.
- Q. Can I do spins and jumps?
- A. We don't prohibit them, but we may ask you to refrain from doing them at times, such as when the rink is crowded. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding with regard to accident prevention.
- Q. Can I speed skate?
- A. We prohibit speed skating for safety reasons. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding with regard to accident prevention. We may ask you to leave the rink if you refuse to follow the staff's instructions.
- Q. Can I play games like ice hockey and curling?
- A. Visitors are requested to refrain form activities other than skating.
- Q. What will you do with lost and found items in the rink? Where can I contact for lost and found items?
- A. Lost and found items will be delivered later in the day to the information counter on the 1st floor of Tokyo Midtown Galleria. For details, please contact TOKYO MIDTOWN Call Center 03-3475-3100.
